'Horrific' Stabbing At Scotland's T IN THE PARK Festival
July 13, 2008According to The Herald, a 32-year-old man died in his tent at Scotland's biggest music festival, T in the Park. He was found by friends at around 11:50 a.m. on Sunday (July 13) and taken to the on-site hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, police are continuing to hunt for two men and the weapon used in a "horrific" stabbing at T in the Park, which has attracted more than 80,000 fans in its 15th year, featuring performances by RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, CANCER BATS and MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE, among many other, mostly alternative rock, indie rock and punk acts.
The 22-year-old victim is in intensive care at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after he was stabbed in the head and body at the blue zone of the festival.
Revellers at the event were asked to go to police if they came across a knife or blood-stained clothing following the attack.
The injured man was found in the campsite at around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday.
